Statement of Problem: •,Recently, social networking has become more popular and rampant and thus more and more people are logging in to these sites and this is no exception with pupils. Also, some teenagers, more specifically RI year 2's, have shown decline in their academic grades. This may be linked to frequent usage of Facebook games and thus becoming addicted to Facebook games.Purpose of study:We want to investigate whether being addicted to Facebook games has a direct relationship to those RI year 2's with decline in their academic grades. Also, we want to evaluate their degree of addiction to Facebook games, thus finding out the various games on Facebook they are so attracted to. In addition, we want to know if there are also other games or activities that various RI year 2's are addicted to, thus even if a number of RI year 2's who are addicted to Facebook games and have shown decline in their results, Facbook games may not actually be the real factor. We also want to find out why Facebook is so appealing to students, more specifically RI year 2's. Also, we want to find out if there are any methods to curb the addiction to Facebook games, and also help RI year 2's to understand the harms and consequences of them being addicted to Facebook.
